About My Work

Most of the young adults I work with are not lacking intelligence, insight, or potential.

They are overwhelmed, burned out, scattered, or stuck in patterns they cannot seem to break, even though they know they are capable of more.

I specialize in working with young adults with ADHD and anxiety who feel behind in life, frustrated with themselves, or unsure how to move forward. Many of my clients have tried therapy before and left feeling supported but unchanged. Talking helped, but it did not create momentum.

My work is different.

I focus on helping young adults build structure, confidence, and follow through in real life. That means learning how to work with your brain, not against it, and developing practical strategies that actually translate into action at school, work, and home.

Why I Do This Work

Before opening my practice, I worked as a teacher, a school counselor, and an inpatient therapist. I have supported young people across classrooms, hospitals, and high stress systems where emotional regulation, accountability, and structure were not optional.

That background matters.

It means I understand how anxiety, ADHD, and overwhelm show up outside the therapy room. I understand academic pressure, family conflict, shutdown, avoidance, and the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

I also understand what does not work.

Support without direction. Insight without action. Endless processing without change.

My approach is designed for people who want more than that.

Therapy with me is structured, strengths based, and collaborative.

We focus on:

  • identifying what is keeping you stuck

  • building systems and routines that work for your brain

  • increasing follow through and accountability

  • reducing avoidance, overwhelm, and self criticism

  • rebuilding confidence through action, not pressure

This is not passive therapy. It is intentional work designed to help you move forward.

I also work with older teens when school stress, emotional regulation, and family conflict are the main concerns.

I am not the right fit for everyone. My practice is intentionally focused so I can do this work well.
